I’ve studied dance and choreography since I was a child. Although I attended some yoga classes in those early days, it wasn’t until 1995 that started my personal practice. It was a transformative time in my life when I was looking for a spiritual discipline and exercise regimen. I found a book on yoga in my mothers library that stated through this practice, my body would find it’s correct weight and become properly proportioned. I would be more alert - alive. This was what I was looking for! I immediately started taking classes and was hooked.
Teaching yoga quickly became a natural segue from my primary role as a student. With a background in the movement arts, I found myself developing my own choreography's or lesson plans to teach family and friends. My style is a combination of Iyengar (structure and alignment) and vinyasa (flows).
“Yoga has improved my life on all levels. As I perform the postures (asanas) with corresponding breath control (pranayama) in a series of flows (vinyasa), I feel my whole mind and body “wake up”. I have increased endurance, flexibility, attention and overall well being.“

I have always had a strong desire to help people achieve their highest good and well-being. In addition to yoga, I also earned a Certificate of Ordination to be an Interfaith Minister in 2005. In this training I learned meditation instruction, guided visualization, prayers, spiritual counseling, aura energy clearings, clairvoyance and clairsentience.
My mission is to provide spiritual services that help you create a life of beauty, connection and flow. Feeling meaning, value and purpose in life where everything supports one another and you're accomplishing what's important to you. The methods I use involve removing energetic and mental or emotional blocks that are holding you back from fully radiating your True Light.
I live in the Finger Lakes Region of New York ,and can work with clients in any location via Zoom or phone. For information on services I offer and how to attend a class or set up an appointment, please email me at dahlia@dahliyoga.com.

The Dahlia Mandala logo was designed by Dahlia and is a simplified stylized version of the dahlia flower. As an artist and designer, Dahlia celebrates sacred geometry by including eight primary petals from single row dahlias, backed by another eight secondary petals for depth, all enclosed by a circle for continuity and wholeness. Given Dahlia's life passions of aesthetics and art, nature and spirituality, her mandala is a perfect symbol that comprises it all.
Mandalas symbolize the universe and completeness, while eight symbolizes infinity and the constant exchange of energy and power, self-confidence, inner strength and authority. An appropriate combination for a minister, and eclectic person devoted to self-realization.
